LEICESTER, Mass. – The Becker Department of Athletics would like to congratulate Becker's 66 student-athletes who have been named to the Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester.
The Dean's List, published each semester, includes all full-time students (24 or more credit hours earned for the academic year; 12 minimum each semester – September through May) whose term grade point average is 3.50 or higher with no grade below a B- and no incomplete (I) or withdrawal/failing (WF) grades. GPA requirements for Dean's list are not rounded.
"I am very proud of the success Becker student-athletes have in the classroom," commented Vice President of Student Affairs and Director of Athletics, Frank Millerick. "Being named to the Dean's List is as high an academic honor as there is and each of our student-athletes should be commended for their hard work!"
The Becker men's ice hockey team led the group with 16 student-athletes on the list. There was a four-way tie with baseball, women's ice hockey, women's lacrosse and women's soccer who each had eight student-athletes on the list. Softball had seven student-athletes earn this honor.
