Baseball To Host Summer Camp
The Becker College baseball team will host a camp on July 16th-19th from 9:00am-2:00pm.
The Becker College Baseball Camp is designed for ages 8-14. The goal is to develop players of all abilities and to increase their overall skill level and knowledge of the game. There is an emphasis on fun and fundamentals while teaching the essentials of hitting, fielding and throwing. The camp will provide participants with the knowledge of how to properly perform a skill and implement proper technique to help with success. The kids will be grouped by age with an 8:1 camper counselor ratio. This assures that every player will receive quality instruction on all aspects of the game. In addition, by keeping the groups consistent, campers will gain better understanding of self-confidence, concepts of teamwork, cooperation, and hard work.
The caring staff will be made up of the current Becker Baseball coaching staff and players and members of the Leicester High School Baseball Coaching Staff . Each staff member is committed to providing each player with a safe, enjoyable experience, while learning the best in baseball fundamentals. Each and every camper will learn life skills of teamwork, self-confidence and sportsmanship.
