2017-18: Julia played in 13 games, started 11 games in net her junior year. In 691:47 minutes played, she stopped 452 shots on net for a .934 save percentage. The junior goalie’s record stood at 1-9-1 at the end of the season. Two-Time Becker Athlete of the Week (Jan. 29, Feb. 13). Made appearance on CHC Honor Roll (Jan. 28, Feb. 11). Earned the team’s Co-Defensive Player of the Year Award. Named to CHC All-Academic Team. 2018 ACHA All-American Scholar Athlete.
2016-17: Julia played in 14 games, started 11 games in net as a sophomore. She totaled 753:37 minutes and made 420 stops with a .919 save percentage. She finished the season with a 3-7-2 slate. Tabbed Becker Athlete of the Week (Nov. 1). Named to CHC All-Academic Team.
2015-16: Julia started 10 games in goal as a freshman. In 575:37 minutes played, she stopped 331 shots on net for a .904 save percentage. Her record during her rookie campaign was 1-9-0.
Personal: Julia is a 2015 graduate of Chatfield Senior HS (CO). She is the daughter of Caryn and Jeff Johnson. Julia has one brother, Trey (21) who plays hockey and the Univ. of Nevada-Las Vegas. Julia is a criminal justice major with a concentration in forensic science. She is also a member of the Becker women’s lacrosse team.
