LEICESTER, Mass. --- Freshman libero Joanna Bampi (Peabody, Mass. / Peabody Veterans Memorial) of the Becker College women's volleyball team has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending September 16th, 2018.
Bampi helped Becker go 1-2 this past week, with a sweep over NECC rival Bay Path University in non-conference play. The freshman averaged 4.91 digs per set and 54 digs total in the course of three matches. For the season, Bampi ranks third in the NECC in total digs.
