Men’s Tennis ends season with loss in NECC Finals
WESTON, Mass. – The Becker College men's tennis team saw their 2017 season come to an end on Monday evening as they lost 9-0 to Regis College in the finals of the NECC Championships.

Despite the dominant win, the Pride got off to a slow start with some early trouble in doubles play. The ship was quickly righted as Bebarta (Danville, Calif.) and Horton (Bass Harbor, Maine) topped the Becker pair of Connor Allison (Hillsboro, Ore.) and Aaron Peterson (San Diego, Calif.) at first doubles, 8-2 with Jarid Polley (North Reading, Mass.) and Kyle Dugat (Houston, Texas) beating Throngpol Chinpanjapol (Barre, Mass.) and Thomas Lanphear (Manchester, Maine) 8-3 on the No. 2 court.

Hildreth (Harvard, Mass.) and Morgenbesser (Bayport, N.Y.) had little trouble at third doubles, winning easily 8-0.

After Horton's 6-0, 6-0 win over Allison at third singles, the Pride clinched the title on the five court. Cam Charbonneau (Guilford, Conn.) topped Alex Kielczewski (Grand Prairie, Texas) 6-0, 6-0 to seal the win and tournament championship.

Congratulations to the whole team on the conclusion of their season.
