WINCHENDON, Mass. – Seven different Ravens scored on Sunday night as the Franklin Pierce University Ravens swept a two-game, weekend series with the Becker College Hawks with an 8-1 victory at Jason Ritchie Ice Arena.

GAME SUMMARY
In the opening minutes of the first period, freshman Emilie Prive (Morrisville, Vt.) scored her first career collegiate goal to give the Ravens a 1-0 lead.
Prive was able to score on a loose puck in front of the Hawks goal, scoring past Hawks sophomore Maddy Morgan (Riverside, Calif.).
Later in the first, goals by sophomore Cassidy Jones (Stillwater, Minn.) and senior Nicole Amato (Billerica, Mass.) scored 2:23 apart expanded the Ravens lead to 3-0.
FPU senior Marissa Massaro (Brockton, Mass.) added a fourth goal in the first period for the Ravens, who led 4-0 after the first period.
Franklin Pierce held a 7-0 lead in the third, but Hawks junior Clare Conway (Billerica, Mass.) broke up the shutout midway through the final period with her first goal of the season.
On the power-play, junior Gabby Petrisin (High Bridge, N.J.) found Conway cutting toward the net from near the goal line. Conway's first shot was saved, but she was able to score on her own rebound.
Ravens sophomore Stefanie Caban (Fitchburg, Mass.) capped off the scoring with a late third period goal in the 8-1 win.
FOR THE HAWKS
- Conway and sophomores Cassidhe Wozniak (Turners Falls, Mass.) and Katie Puumala (Framingham, Mass.) all finished with three shots on goal.
- Morgan finished with 37 saves but the loss drops her to 0-1-0.
FOR THE RAVENS
- Jones finished with two goals on the night, her first two of the season.
- Freshman Suzette Faucher (Middleton, Wis.) made 14 saves and picked up her first career win.
