GAME SUMMARY
The game-deciding goal came with 11:36 remaining in the game with junior Clare Conway (Billerica, Mass.) scoring her sixth goal of the season.
Conway received a pass in the left-wing circle from behind the goal line off the stick of sophomore Katie Puumala (Framingham, Mass.). The pass was on point as Conway quickly fired a shot past Rams freshman goalie Lily O'Neill (Abington, Mass.) to give Becker a 2-1 lead.
The Hawks tied the game earlier in the third period with the help of a fortunate bounce into the Rams defensive zone. A bouncing puck found its way on goal, forcing a save by O'Neill, but there for the rebound was Puumala, who went backhand, top shelf to tie the game at 1-1.
After a scoreless first period, Suffolk broke through for the game's opening goal with 5:13 remaining in the second period on the first goal of the season for junior Madison Duff (Novi, Mich.).
A failed clear by the Hawks allowed Duff to keep the puck in the zone at the left-wing blue line. After looking over her options, Duff decided to make a play for herself, cutting to the middle of the ice, around one Hawks defender and past a stick check.
Duff looked up to find herself skating unguarded through the slot and fired a wrist shot past Hawks sophomore goalie Amber Lee (Nashua, N.H.) and into the top corner for a 1-0 lead.

FOR THE RAMS
- Senior Maddy Burton (Aurora, Ill.) added an assist on the Rams lone goal, giving her five helpers this season.
