LEICESTER, Mass. – Rams freshman Claudia Rushi (Beverly, Mass.) scored a pair of goals on Wednesday afternoon for Suffolk, as they defeated the Becker Hawks 4-0 at Alumni Field in exhibition play.

GAME SUMMARY
The Rams were on the board in the 14th minute with a goal senior Caleigh O'Brien (Wilbraham, Mass.). She received a pass just inside the penalty area from senior Addisyn Lanza (Madison, Conn.). O'Brien turned toward goal and fired a right-footed shot into the net for a 1-0 lead.
Suffolk scored again just prior to halftime on a goal on Rushi's first of the afternoon. The shot came from 30 yards out from goal and found the net over the outstretched arms of Hawks goalie Olivia Sherwood (Southington, Conn.) to give the Rams a 2-0 edge.
The Rams would find the net two more times in the second half, including the second of the game for Rushi. Freshman Delaney Hall (East Bridgewater, Mass.) added the other goal of the half on the way to the Rams 4-0 win.
FOR THE HAWKS
- Junior Alana Garofalo (Berlin, Conn.) led the Hawks with two shots on goals.
- Sherwood made nine saves in the exhibition for Becker.
FOR THE RAMS
- Hall added an assist on Rushi's second goal of the day.
- Junior Allison Rodrigues (North Andover, Mass.) made three saves in the shutout.

The Hawks return to Alumni Field on April 18 at 11:00 a.m. against Elms in a celebration of Senior Day. The Rams play an exhibition game at Emmanuel on April 24 at 9:00 a.m.
