GAME SUMMARY

Four unanswered Hawks goals would provide the offense for Becker, as they dug out of an early 1-0 deficit.

In the 33rd minute, Falcons sophomore Kelly Musante (Wallingford, Conn.) broke the scoreless tie to give Albertus a 1-0 lead. Musante fired a shot from long distance that Hawks sophomore goalie Olivia Sherwood (Southington, Conn.) was unable to keep out of the net.

But the Hawks would tie the game 1-1 soon after with sophomore Shannon O'Toole (Hamilton, Mass.) scoring for Becker in the 35th minute. O'Toole's goal also came from distance as her shot found the top corner, out of the reach of the Falcon keeper.

Two minutes later, in the 37th minute, senior Shannon Kelley (Bellingham, Mass.) scored to give the Hawks a 2-1 lead. Kelley's left-footed finish found the back of the net and proved to be the eventual game-winning goal.

Just before halftime, senior Alyson Eldridge (Chesterfield, N.H.) got on the board from close range, scoring past an oncoming Falcons goalie and giving the Hawks a 3-1 edge.

Things were quiet until the 64th minute where a penalty kick goal from junior Kristen Beidleman (Holliston, Mass.) finished off a stretch of four goals in 29 minutes, as the Hawks went on to win 4-1.

FOR THE HAWKS

  • Beidleman added an assist on the Eldridge goal in Tuesday's exhibition.
  • Sherwood finished with eight saves on the night.
  • Kelley, Eldridge, and fellow senior Diana Whittier (Sutton, Mass.) played their final career collegiate contests.
