BOSTON, Mass. – Junior Nicholas McKee (Bakersfield, Calif.) scored 2:36 into the third period to snap a 2-all tie as the Becker College ice hockey team held on for a 3-2 win over Wentworth Institute of Technology in ECAC Northeast action at Walter Brown Arena. The win for the Hawks snapped a nine-game losing streak and 10-game winless streak against the Leopards as Becker notched its first series win since February 12, 2010.

MEN'S ICE HOCKEY TO JOIN COMMONWEALTH COAST CONFERENCE IN 2016-2017
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.— The Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the CCC will begin sponsoring men’s ice hockey as a championship sport beginning in 2016-17. The addition of men’s hockey increases the number of CCC championship sports to 16 and marks the first new CCC championship sport since the addition of men’s golf in 2013-14.
