New England Collegiate Conference Release

LEICESTER, Mass. – Following a week of batting .333, Hawks freshman Jillana Stevens (Farmington, N.H.) has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Week, for the week ending on March 28.

The Hawks freshman catcher batted 3-for-9 this week as Becker went 3-1 over a four-game stretch. All three hits were singles and produced one RBI for Stevens this week.

Patience at the plate showed for Stevens as she drew a team-high five walks over the four-game span, helping her reach base safely in every game this week.

Becker is off to a 4-4 start this year and return to the diamond to kickoff NECC play as they open a four-game set with Eastern Nazarene on April 2 and 3. The Hawks will host on Friday at 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. while the Lions host Saturday at 12:00 and 2:00 p.m.
