Becker Hawks 9-13 (5-9 NECC)
Mitchell Mariners 7-14 (5-9 NECC)
GAME ONE: Mitchell 3 - Becker 2
The Mariners and Hawks would come out of the gates firing with both teams scoring in their first at-bats. The Hawks 2-1 lead would be short-lived as the Mariners answered with two runs of their own in the top of the second.
In the bottom of the first inning, three consecutive singles for the Hawks would load the bases. Sophomore Holly Letourneau (Woonsocket, R.I.) stepped up to the plate and delivered a double into the left-center gap, giving the Hawks a 2-1 lead.
The Mariners would answer quickly as a wild pitch and a timely single by Madison Nicynski (Warwick, R.I.) would give them back the lead at 3-2.
A pitcher's duel would follow with neither team being able to strike again. Ashley Veillette (Danielson, Conn.) and Katelyn Lipsky (Plantsville, Conn.) both pitched complete games. Veillette would finish having conceded one earned run while striking out six. Lipsky would end the game on a strikeout, putting herself at nine for the contest.

For Becker, Letourneau would bat 2-for-4 with two RBI, bringing her season total to 29.
For Mitchell, Lipsky was the key, pitching a complete game, conceding two earned runs and striking out nine.
Winning Pitcher: Katelyn Lipsky (5-7)
Losing Pitcher: Ashley Veillette (5-5)
GAME TWO: Mitchell 7 - Becker 6
A late surge by the Hawks was not enough to come back against the Mariners in the conclusion of the four-game series.
Trailing 7-2 going into the bottom of the sixth, the Hawks would take advantage of untimely mistakes by their opponent to put themselves within striking distance at 7-4.
The bottom of the seventh would start off with a single by Sarah Ellis (Berkley, Mass.) and a walk by Letourneau. With two runners on, Lindsay Mitchell (Billerica, Mass.) drove a hard-hit single to right field, making it a one-run game. The Hawks were unable to strike again, and the game would end 7-6.
The Mariners would score their runs in the middle of the contest on a string of errors. The Mariners would cross the plate seven times during the contest with Veillette only conceding two earned runs. Maliah Pabellon (Bridgeport, Conn.) would get the Mariners started when she homered during the fourth inning, marking her second home run of the series.
In the finale of the four-game series, the Mariners would hold on for the win and complete the series sweep over the Hawks. Hannah Lemke (East Haddam, Conn.) would pick up her first win of the season with Lipsky picking up the save.

For the Hawks, Emily Iacovelli (Northbridge, Mass.) had a solo home run, marking her fourth of the year. Lindsay Mitchell would end the day 3-for-4 with 3 singles with 2 RBI's.
