The Southington native showcased herself well for the Hawks as she accumulated over 1,580 minutes on the pitch and led the team with 91 saves, a save percentage of .798 and set a Becker record with four consecutive shutouts by a rookie. Sherwood’s performance on the pitch was acknowledged as she received three NECC Rookie of the Week accolades, was selected to the NECC Sportsmanship Team and was recognized by her team as Rookie of the Year.
