CCC Statement Regarding Winter Sports
Following our Nov. 9 meeting, the Presidents of the Commonwealth Coast Conference remain hopeful that our winter teams will have the opportunity to compete in the 2020-21 academic year.
We will continue monitoring the rapidly evolving situation surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic and will be prepared to begin competition if and when we can do so safely. With the health and safety of our campus communities being paramount and with a majority of our members bringing students back to campus on or around Feb. 1, the conference plans to have an announcement regarding winter sports no later than that date.
Becker College's men's and women's ice hockey teams are associate members of the Commonwealth Coast Conference, and will be affected by the decision made on or around Feb. 1.
