LEICESTER, Mass. – Just one day before students are scheduled to go back to class, the Becker Athletics Department debuted their brand-new athletics website on Jan. 27, a project almost a year in the making.
The new website gives a modern, clean look to BeckerHawks.com and focuses on making a more user-friendly site while prioritizing and promoting the Hawks student-athletes and the 12 NCAA Division III athletic programs of the College.
"We've all been so excited to debut this new site in the department," said Director of Athletic Operations Nikki Narducci. "We wanted to wait for sports to be back at Becker before unveiling the website. It was a hard secret to keep, but we're hoping with this modern and user-friendly site that we can promote our athletes better than ever before and create an easy experience for the fans of Hawk Nation."
The homepage of BeckerHawks.com now features a scoreboard at the top of the page in hopes of providing rapid information to fans about previous results and upcoming games. Additionally, a video section and photo galleries have been added to the bottom of the homepage to show the most up-to-date shots of our Hawks in action.
Changes to the homepage are only a few of the hundreds of adjustments that have come to BeckerHawks.com that spread across every corner of the webpage.
"It was a strong and thorough collaboration among all members of the administration," said Narducci. "But after a lot of research and hard work, we believe we've created a website that will be ahead of its time for years to come."
