LEICESTER, Mass. – On Tuesday, April 6, the NCAA celebrates National Student-Athlete Day, a celebration of student-athletes impact on the game and intelligence in the classroom, defining what it truly means to be a student-athlete.
For another semester, announcing the tremendous accomplishments of our student-athletes can not be held in an in-person setting.
Today, the Becker College Department of Athletics is proud to announce that the women's ice hockey program is the winner of the President's Academic Cup for the Spring 2021 semester. This is the first time in the program's history they have claimed the President's Academic Cup!
The President's Academic Cup is presented to the program with the highest cumulative GPA from the previous semester. The women's ice hockey program posted a team GPA of 3.48 on their way to claiming the President's Academic Cup.
In addition to the announcement of the President's Academic Cup, the Becker College Department of Athletics would like to recognize 124 student-athletes from our 12 athletic programs whose previous semester GPA equaled or exceeded 3.00.
The following student-athletes finished with a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the fall 2020 semester. Listed in alphabetical order by last name and of sport.
