Kayla Cullerton

Kayla Cullerton joins the Becker Athletics training staff in the summer of 2019 as the Associate Athletic Trainer.

As the Associate Athletic Trainer, Cullerton will provide Becker student-athletes with a high quality sports medicine health care and will be responsible for the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of Becker student-athletes.

Cullerton comes to Becker from Bryant University where she was most recently an athletic trainer for the Bulldogs football program.  Cullerton also has recently been employed with Woonsocket High School as the primary Athletic Trainer. 

Cullerton is a certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), holds a Rhode Island and Massachusetts Athletic Training License.  She is an active member of the College Athletic Trainers Society, National Athletic Trainers Association, and American College of Sports Medicine.

Cullerton graduated from Syracuse University with a B.S. in Health and Exercise Science, and minors in Coaching and Nutrition.  She received her M.S. Athletic Training degree from Bridgewater State University where her clinical assignments included Boston College, Bridgewater State, Roger Williams, Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School.  Cullerton furthered her education with a M.Ed. in Higher Education Counseling/Mental Health Counseling from Providence College.  During her time with the Friars, she also acted as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for the women’s soccer, softball, volleyball and men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs.
