WORCESTER, Mass. – On Saturday, May 9, Becker College honored its 2020 senior graduating class with a message from President Nancy Crimmin, as well as a list of the College's graduates, and lists of awards and honors recipients virtually.

"Sit back, take a deep breath, and enjoy a break. Your work is done, for now. Reflect on your time, connect with your friends and celebrate yourselves. Now go out there and be the change that our world needs, we are counting on you."

The Dean's Award is the highest academic honor bestowed upon a graduate of Becker College. It is based solely on academic achievement and is given to a graduate of a Bachelor's Degree Program. The recipient of the Dean's Award is revealed during the Commencement ceremony. This year's Dean's Award recipient is Michael McMahon (baseball).
This distinguished recognition is presented to a graduating senior who has shown outstanding school spirit throughout his or her time at Becker; is recognized as a leader by students and the administration; and is an active member of the Becker community through campus-wide involvement in clubs, organizations, and community service. This year's President's Award recipient is Michael McMahon (baseball).
Recognizes students, selected by faculty, who show outstanding accomplishment in their respective programs.

Sigma Theta Tau is the Honor Society of Nursing. To be inducted, students must have completed at least half of the nursing curriculum, have a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0, rank in the top 35% of the graduating class and meet the expectation of academic integrity.
