David Rixham enters his second year at Becker College after being hired as the Assistant Director of Athletic Communications in August 2019.

In an updated role for the 2020-21 season, Rixham will be the primary contact for all 12 of Becker's NCAA Division III athletic programs.

Rixham comes to Becker following three years as Sports Information Director at Newbury College, where he oversaw communications for their 14 NCAA Division III programs.

While on the Nighthawks staff, Rixham was responsible for all statistical data, coordinating live video and stats for home games, updates to the Nighthawks athletic website and social media pages, and coordinating and scheduling athletic contests.

Prior to his time at Newbury, Rixham spent two semesters as an Athletics Intern at Worcester State University in 2015-16, where he was responsible for play-by-play of Lancers home events, conducting interviews with student-athletes, and composing post-game articles following events.

A native of Northbridge, Mass., Rixham graduated from Worcester State University in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in Communication, concentrated in Journalism.
