- Assistant Athletic Trainer
Daniel Cordoba joins Becker College Athletics as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for the 2019-2020 school year.
Prior to Becker, Cordoba served as an outpatient rehab Athletic Trainer, Co-coordinator of Spine research and development, and sports performance center coach for New England Baptist Hospital. While obtaining his M.S. in Athletic Training from Bridgewater State University in 2017, Cordoba had experiences with High School (Weymouth), DIII (Tufts University and Bridgewater State University), and DI (Boston College) student-athletes. Towards the end and immediately following his graduation, he had an internship with the New England Patriots, which opened the door to work with Semi-Professional Football players, which he has done for the past two years. With Semi-Pro he has had the chance to travel to Costa Rica for the Tropic Bowl, a non-profit and free for the youth football camp and game held each year in May, as well as giving back locally with charity events with the teams he’s been a part of.
As an Athletic Trainer with the Hawks, Cordoba is able to merge his experiences in strength and conditioning, outpatient rehab, and athletic training to ensure that student-athletes achieve a high level of function during their time at Becker.
Harmoniously, Cordoba will serve as the Head Athletic Trainer for the Massachusetts Pirates of the National Arena League as they set sail towards the 2020 Season.
