NEW LONDON, Conn. --- The Becker College men's basketball team lost 72-48 at Mitchell College on Wednesday evening at the Yarnall Athletic Center in New London, Connecticut.

FOR THE HAWKS OF BECKER

• Becker junior forward Mateus Ribeiro (Sao Paulo, Brazil / Colegio Pedroso e Oliveira) posted a double-double to lead the Hawks with 10 points, 12 rebounds and five assists.
• Junior forward Guney Kilitcioglu (Istanbul, Turkey / The Koc School) finished with 12 points, shooting three-of-six from behind the arc.                  
• Junior forward Jamir Carr (Philadelphia, Penn. / Universal Audenried) scored ten points and pulled down six boards.
• Sophomore guard Jordan Rose-Wheatley (New Bedford, Mass. / Bridgton Academy) added seven points and three rebounds.

FOR THE MARINERS OF MITCHELL

• Mitchell senior forward Hasani Williams (Miramar, Fla. / Hallandale) led the Mariners with 18 points, shooting four-of-five from behind the arc.
• Junior guard Elijah Baidoo (Stockton, Calif. / Bear Creek) finished with 12 points off the bench in just 15 minutes.
• Senior guard Matt Finke (Wolcott, Conn. / Wolcott) contributed 11 points and four assists.
• Junior forward Malik Chase (Providence, R.I. / Classical) added eight points and six boards.

UP NEXT
The Hawks are back on the court on Saturday when they play host to Eastern Nazarene College in a 1:00 p.m. game.
