New England Collegiate Conference Release
LEICESTER, Mass. – Hawks junior Julia Ravenelle (Barrington, N.H.) amassed 13 points over three games to start the women's lacrosse program's 2021 season and, as a result, Ravenelle has been named the New England Collegiate Conference Offensive Player of the Week, for the week ending on March 28.
The junior attacker scored eight goals and added five assists in her 13-point week. She scored twice in games against Eastern Connecticut and Saint Joseph's College while her four-goal, four-assist outburst in a win over Anna Maria on Thursday was her most productive game of the week.
In addition to her 13 points, Ravenelle added nine ground balls, eight draw controls, and three caused turnovers.
The Hawks started the season 1-2 and return to play on Tuesday with a 4:00 p.m. game at Albertus Magnus.
