May 05, 2014LEICESTER, Mass.- For the second consecutive season, Ashley Mossey (Ballston Lake, N.Y.) was chosen by the leagues coaches as the NECC Women's Lacrosse Player of the Year. The senior midfielder led the Hawks with 20 goals and three assists in five league games. Mossey also caused eight turnovers and collected five ground balls. -

Balanced Attack Lifts Women's Lacrosse Into NECC Championship
April 30, 2014BOSTON, Mass. – The third-seeded Becker College women’s lacrosse team’s defensive pressure was too much for host second-seeded Wheelock College in a 13-7 victory for the visitors in the New England Collegiate Conference Tournament semifinals contest at Winsor Field in Boston. The Hawks improve to 9-6 on the season and advance to play top-seeded Regis College, which defeated number four seed Elms College, 20-8, in the other semifinal contest. The NECC Championship game will be played on Saturday, May 3 at 1:00 p.m. in Weston, Mass. on the campus of Regis. The Wildcats finish their season at 5-8. -
Women's Lacrosse Drops Regular Season Finale To Regis
April 26, 2014WESTON, Mass. – In a rematch of last year’s New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Championship, the Regis College women’s lacrosse team was once again victorious over Becker College in the final regular season game for both teams on a cold and rainy Saturday afternoon at Regis Stadium. Grace Politis (Billerica, Mass.) scored six goals to help the Pride win 16-13, which officially wrapped up an undefeated mark in regular season league play for the second straight year. -
